What is Google Calendar? 📩
GCal is a free calendar app for any platform that allows users to create and edit events. While many people use this app, there are so many features that are overlooked. You can find more information in last week's newsletter.
Why should I make multiple calendars within Google Calendar? 🧐
Having multiple calendars allows you to easily visualize the different parts of your life, and even better, allows you to have custom notifications already built in.
This means that you can have it remind you 10 minutes before class; 10 minutes, 4 hours before social plans; 1 week, 2 days, 8 hours, 2 hours, 10 minutes before meetings, or any other combination you can think of.
I cannot overstate how many times this has reminded me of social, academic, and professional events I completely forgot about.

Video of the Week: 3 Simple Ideas That Are Changing My Life💰
What is this video about? 🧠
I immediately binged five videos after this one from Nathaniel Drew, a general life YouTuber that I am honestly embarrassed I've never heard of before. Nathaniel does a great job talking about three things that are changing his relationships with others and the way he views himself as an individual.
This isn't directly related to productivity, but this video was too good to not share. I hope you all find these ideas as impactful as I did.

Tell me who you spend your time with and I'll tell you who you are.

Without intent, content is empty. Don't get lost in the details.
People need to feel heard; people need to feel felt.
"Stay in your lane"
It is a massive waste of time and energy to try and change other people.
This is such a hard lesson to learn, but one that can really change the way you live your life.
"The most important relationship you have in life is with yourself"
It is so hard to value other people if you don't value yourself. You can only be as open to others as you are with yourself.
