sometimes months of work can't just be stopped
Hello, everyone! 🌲
As most of you know, I was planning to take the MCAT this week. Unfortunately, a lot of the testing centers have cancelled due to the rising cases and I will be rescheduling all the way to April! The Anki run never stops (except two weeks ago when I spent the whole day moving back in). 😔
If you are new here, feel free to subscribe to receive hand-picked insights like this every week!

⚡️ The search for helpful YouTube videos has not stopped. I really enjoyed this video by Yath Prem about taking digital notes as a medical student & his free Notion template alongside it (linked below).
⚡️ If you enjoyed last week's issue on gSweets, you should definitely check out Spaceli. It is a fantastic (free) app that tuns your Google Suite into a knowledge base. This takes the form of some really cool folder workflows and custom spaces to get all your work done. I highly recommend checking this app out!
⚡️ I have been all over the place with task managers lately but I have to say that the week view of Tweek takes the cake. It is so helpful to see everything I have to do on a weekly basis and even better, it is free across all devices! Check it out here!
⚡️ It is always so difficult to show someone how to do something remotely but Kap is trying to change that. Armed with community-built code, Kap strives to create an open-source screen recorder build with web technology. I've become quite frustrated by long instruction manuals so it would be great to see this implemented more across the board!
⚡️ I've always been curious about my email consumption and whether it justifies the cost of Superhuman. Email Meter is an email service that lets you see a ton of statistics on your emails (shown below is the bare minimum) in the past year and is super helpful in identifying overall email patterns. Unfortunately, my email use has switched between accounts and clients a lot so my data is pretty skewed. Hopefully next year it will be more accurate!
Notion Templates 🌲
Here is Yath’s template!
Here is another great resolution template!
In other news, I received early access to the Bose PinPoint software so definitely keep an eye our for that in the future weeks!
I'm also really excited to announce a new page of the website called the 'Wall of Support' where I compile reader and customer support. If you have gotten any kind of value from this newsletter and would like a shoutout, I would love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks for reading the 24th issue of HumanOS!
